Abstract
Peel off gel mask is a skin care preparation that has the advantage that it can be easily removed or removed after drying like a plastic layer. The purpose of this study was to formulate a peel off gel mask preparation and to determine the optimal concentration of PVA and glycerin composition on the physical properties of the peel off gel mask preparation. Concentration ranges of PVA (9-13%), and glycerin (11-15%). The observed responses were dispersion, viscosity and dry time. The data obtained were analyzed by Design Expert. The results obtained showed the optimal formula with a composition of 13% PVA and 11% glycerin. Of the three test parameters, namely dispersion (75,113±25,905 cm.g/min), viscosity (452,222±3,849 dPa.s), and dry time (30,666±1,154 minutes), the results obtained did not show a significant difference between the observed data. with the predicted value generated by Design Expert.
